It's four in the morning I can't go to sleep cause my little girl's at my bed.
Try to roll over pretend that I'm out but her voice rings in my head.
She says mommy I'm scared of the dark and I think I heard a noise.
Sounded like a moan or a human-killing drone from the room where I keep my toys.
That's just the man hiding under your bed,
And if you don't go to sleep (he'll eat you.)
That's just your dad getting up for work,
And if you ain't counting sheep (he'll beat you.)
